Annual Giving

The Catherine Cook Annual Giving Campaign is the school's most important philanthropic effort. Each year, these unrestricted gifts directly support the school's current operating budget and help to cover the difference between tuition and the actual cost of educating a student.

The Campaign is linked to the total cost of education, not one individual program. Your gift supports all aspects of our educational program: need-based tuition assistance, facilities, security systems, athletics, technology, the library, fine arts, competitive faculty salaries, and professional development opportunities.

Last year we raised more than $750,000 through Annual Giving donations. This year, we hope to meet or exceed last year's total. Most importantly, we always strive to achieve the Every Family goal of 100% parent participation.

We ask each family to consider a gift in line with their capacity to contribute. As a guide, we inform families that there is a difference of about $2,526 per student between tuition amounts and the actual cost of education. Every gift amount contributes towards the Every Family goal and we understand that every family has a different capacity to give depending on their personal situation. We only ask that each family gives a gift that is right for them.

Yes! Your company can help us meet our Annual Giving goals. Many companies have gift programs for matching, sometimes doubling or tripling charitable contributions given by their employees. Some will even match gifts made by retirees and spouses. Contact your employer for details about their matching gift program.
