Volunteering

Make a Difference
Volunteer at Catherine Cook!

Volunteers are vital to the Catherine Cook School community. They offer their time and talent and, in return, reap the rewards of contributing to the success of the school and its students. Whatever your schedule, abilities, or interests, there is a volunteer opportunity for you.

  • It's a great way to meet other parents and forge new friendships.
  • Volunteers are positive role models for our students.
  • Volunteer contributions significantly and positively impact the community.
  • It is an opportunity to learn more about your child's education.
  • It is a great way to get to know faculty and staff.

Volunteers In Action

Lunch Support

To give faculty and staff more time to plan for classes, eat their own lunch, and have some rest time, parents and guardians volunteer to supervise in the Cafeteria once per week.

Annual Gala

This annual event brings our whole community together in support of Catherine Cook. Volunteers help plan the Gala, collect donations, set up the event space, and more.

Service Committee

In addition to serving the Catherine Cook community, we also seek volunteers to serve the greater Chicago community through special events like meal packing, book drives, and beach clean-ups.

Ice Cream Social

Each year, Catherine Cook kicks off its Annual Giving Campaign with an all-school Ice Cream Social! Many volunteers are needed to help set up, pass out ice cream, support activities, and more.
