Prescription & Non-Prescription Medication Policies

Catherine Cook School complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the distribution and administration of both prescription and non-prescription medications to minors. No student may be administered (or may otherwise, while on school property or at Catherine Cook-sponsored events off-campus, be given) prescription or non-prescription medication brought from home without an accompanying form completed by the student's doctor.

For more information and to access the Prescription and/or Non-Prescription Medication Authorization Forms, please visit the Cook Portal and select Magnus Health under the Resources tab. The form(s) should be completed by the child's physician and returned to the School Nurse with the designated medication(s).
