Winter Collection Drive

Cradles to Crayons
Please support the Parent Association Service Committee in their Winter Collection Drive for Cradles to Crayons from Monday, December 11 - Friday, December 15. A drop box will be located at the top of the Main Entrance stairwell on the 1st Floor from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. each morning.

Items Accepted and Encouraged (All Gently-Used or Like-New):
  • Winter clothing, outerwear, and shoes for children (size 0-12 child or S/M adult)
  • Non-religious family and holiday books for children
  • Educational toys and puzzles (no stuffed animals, large or ride-on toys, or computer games, please)

Cradles to Crayons provides children in homeless and low-income situations, age 0-12, with the essential items that they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play. Gently-used and like-new items donated by the Catherine Cook Community will contribute to their Winter Kid Packs.

Please Note: Cradles to Crayons does accept some larger baby/child necessities like car seats, strollers, and pak 'n plays (all less than 5 years old and in like-new condition), but these will need to be delivered to one of their many drop-off locations throughout the city. If you have any questions, please contact Service Committee Co-Chairs Jessica Dunne, Allegra Weiner, and Ellen Kellogg.

GIN T-Shirt Drive for Homeless Pets
Please also help our Global Issues Network (GIN) students support homeless pets by donating used t-shirts of all conditions, which will be recycled into pet toys for the Critical Animal Relief Foundation (CARF). Collection boxes will be available next to the Cradles to Crayons drop boxes in the Main Entrance stairwell from Monday, December 11 - Friday, December 15.
