COVID-19 Resource Page

Catherine Cook will follow recommendations by the Illinois Department of Health (IDPH). Please note that if there is a specific government mandate or requirement declared by the Chicago Department of Public Health or Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (e.g. travel advisory vs. travel mandate/requirement) that will surpass any recommendations by the IDPH and we will be required to follow such mandate.

Catherine Cook will go back to (5-day) full-time, in-person school. (Please note that we will also resume normal school hours on Wednesdays as well.) The only occasions students will have access to modified remote learning will be while in quarantine or isolation due to a COVID-19 diagnosis or exposure.

Each member of our community shares a significant role in helping to maintain the health and safety for all. We also know that schools function best when students, families, faculty, and staff feel safe. At school, Catherine Cook has placed great efforts to implement layers of recommended actions to help mitigate the risk of sickness. However, it is important to note, no system designed for in-person interactions and instruction is risk-free. As we try to get back to a ‘normal’ school experience for our community, please click on any of the following icons to learn more about our most up-to-date system and policies we have adapted for the 2021-2022 school year. Please email covid@ccookschool.org with any questions or concerns.
