The health and wellbeing of our community is always our top priority. Catherine Cook School continues to follow guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
Please review our revised COVID-19 Guidelines for the 2022-2023 school year. As the pandemic response continues to evolve, we will provide updated recommendations as available. Please communicate the School Nurse at nurse@ccookschool.org for any COVID-19 updates about your family or for any COVID-19 related questions for the school.

Health & Safety Protocols
Facilities
Below are a list of strategies we will continue to implement on campus:
Upgraded ventilation to adjust fresh air intake and filtration strategies on building automation systems
All drinking fountains remain disabled; only the touchless water bottle filling stations will be active
Signage fostering healthy hygiene habits will be posted throughout the school.
Each classroom is equipped with a hand sanitizer dispenser, and handwashing sinks, soap dispensers, and touchless faucets have been added to most classrooms.
Catherine Cook will follow CDC guidelines for nightly cleaning and disinfection of high traffic areas, classrooms, supplies, restrooms, offices, and bathrooms
