Bonjour Club Events
Bienvenue to the French Club of Catherine Cook! Join Madame Gigi Olmstead and Monsieur Andy Lelo to explore and discover Chicago through fun French adventures.
Bonjour Club is a social club that reinforces and celebrates the French speaking language and culture outside the classroom. We offer scheduled events around town to expand students’ world culture learning. Events could include a visit to the Impressionism gallery of the Art Institute, a cooking class, a book club, concerts, a movie, a visit to the French Fall Market, a celebration of the Francophonie month, guest speakers, a fall break celebration, an architectural tour, etc.
This club is for Catherine Cook students from 2nd-8th Grades who are eager to experience French outside school. French students are strongly encouraged to participate, while Spanish students are also welcome to explore the French speaking language and culture. The appropriate grade level will be specified for each event. Parents are welcome to chaperone.
The club will visit various locations around Chicago. Students will be asked to RSVP to secure a spot.
Events will be scheduled after school or on weekends.
Some events will be complimentary while others will require a fee.
