Tuition and Fees include: school-issued laptops and/or iPads for use in the classroom for Preschool - Grade 4, and for use in the classroom and home for Grades 5-8, yearbook costs, student photographs, Parent Association membership, textbook rentals, workbooks, most lab and field trip expenses, and signature trips for the Middle School. Families are responsible for purchasing school supplies. The school reserves the right to charge additional fees as necessary throughout the year.

Tuition and fees are subject to change on an annual basis as determined by the Board of Trustees. 

Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating a student at Catherine Cook. Like all independent schools, Catherine Cook conducts annual fundraising programs that contribute to the operating budget and help to cover the gap between actual operating expenses and tuition revenue. At Catherine Cook we have two annual fundraising programs: the Annual Giving Campaign and the Annual Gala. All parents and guardians are expected to participate in both of these fundraising programs each year.

Application Fee: $75; due with the application for each student applying to the school

New Family Fee: $2,000; a one-time fee assessed at time of initial enrollment of the first child

Technology and Activity Fee: $1,250; an annual fee for every student enrolled in the school

For new students, this non-refundable deposit is applied to tuition and is due with a signed Enrollment Contract.

Re-enrollment Deposit - $2,000
For returning students, this non-refundable deposit is applied to tuition and is due with the signed Re-enrollment Contract.

Catherine Cook School has partnered with Tuition Management to service your tuition account. Several payment options are available for payment of tuition and mandatory fees. The school does not refund tuition under any circumstances beyond the binding date of the contract.

Please be advised that, depending on which plan you select, there may be a $40/family fee imposed by Tuition Management. This is a fee charged by and paid directly to Tuition Management and is not collected by Catherine Cook School.

Eligibility for admission is determined independently from a family's application for financial support, which includes two forms of support:

• Tuition Assistance: Awarded specifically toward the cost of tuition at varying amounts, depending on a family's financial need
• The Thatcher Swanson Grant for Diversity and Inclusion: Awarded to a limited number of students each year for the full cost of tuition, fees, lunch, a stipend for after school programs, and additional support as needed; recipients must meet certain criteria to be eligible. Families who would like to request financial support should complete an online application and submit the requested financial forms to verify the reported information. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts the financial need analysis for Catherine Cook. The financial support program is designed to attract and enroll students from diverse economic, cultural, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds and to offer a unique educational opportunity to qualified students whose families are unable to pay full tuition. For our financial support program to be truly effective, it is expected that families will make their children's education a financial priority.

Financial support decisions are based on each family's ability to finance their child's education as evaluated by the Financial Aid Committee, which uses information supplied by families to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Catherine Cook’s financial support awards are grants, which means there is no repayment required.

Financial Support Application Process

1. Families applying for financial support will need to complete an online application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.
2. Applications can be completed online on the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website. Applicants can apply online beginning November 1, 2022, at FACTS. Applications must be received by February 3, 2023, for review for the 2022-2023 school year.
3. Submit copies of your 2021 and 2022 W2/1099 form(s)* as soon as available. Applications are not complete until FACTS receives your 2021 and 2022 submitted tax return(s) and your 2021 and 2022 W2/1099 form(s). FACTS may request additional documentation to verify information provided on the application.

*In cases of divorce or separation, both parents must submit all required forms. The family's ability to contribute is based on both parents' income and assets.

Lunch

HandCut Foods is our lunch provider. The daily price is $7.16 for Early Childhood and Lower School, and $7.88 for Middle School.
