An independent school education is an investment in excellence. The following schedule of tuition and fees has been approved by the Board of Trustees for the 2017-2018 school year. Tuition information for the 2018-2019 school year will be released in January 2018.

Tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating a student at Catherine Cook. Like all independent schools, Catherine Cook conducts annual fundraising programs that contribute to the operating budget and help to cover the gap between actual operating expenses and tuition revenue. At Catherine Cook we have two annual fundraising programs: the Annual Giving Campaign and the Annual Gala. All parents and guardians are expected to participate in both of these fundraising programs each year.
Enrollment Deposit - $2,000
For new students, this non-refundable deposit is applied to tuition and is due with a signed Enrollment Contract.
Re-enrollment Deposit - $2,000
For returning students, this non-refundable deposit is applied to tuition and is due with the signed Re-enrollment Contract.
Several payment options are available for payment of tuition and mandatory fees. The school does not refund tuition under any circumstances beyond the binding date of the contract.
Pay the full year’s tuition and fees by June 1.
Pay half year’s tuition and fees by June 1, and half year’s tuition and fees by August 15.
Eight equal payments due on the first day of the months of May through December for tuition and fees. There is a processing fee for this option.
Eligibility for admission is determined independently from a family's application for tuition assistance. Families who would like to request tuition assistance should complete an online application and submit the requested financial forms to verify the reported information.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts the financial need analysis for Catherine Cook. The purpose of the tuition assistance program is to provide financial support to families whose children would not be able to attend an independent school without such assistance. The school's need-based tuition assistance program is available to families with students in Senior Kindergarten through 8th Grade. The program is designed to attract and enroll students from diverse cultural, ethnic, economic, and geographic backgrounds and to offer a unique educational opportunity to deserving students whose families lack the means to pay full tuition. For our tuition assistance program to be truly effective, it is expected that families will make their children's education a financial priority.
Tuition assistance decisions are based on each family's ability to finance their child's education as evaluated by the Financial Aid Committee, which uses information supplied by families to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, our need-analysis provider. Eligibility for admission is determined independently from a family's application for tuition assistance. The school maintains the same standards of academic performance and behavior for recipients of tuition assistance as it does for non-recipients.
Catherine Cook’s tuition assistance awards are grants, which means there is no repayment required.
- Families applying for tuition assistance will need to complete an online application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment.
- Applications can be completed online on the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment website. Applicants can apply online beginning November 1, 2016, at FACTS. Applications must be initiated by January 1, 2017, for review for the 2017-2018 school year.
- FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will provide a self-addressed envelope for you to mail your supporting documentation.
- Submit copies of your 2015 and 2016 W2/1099 form(s)* as soon as available. Applications are not complete until FACTS receives your 2015 and 2016 submitted tax return(s) and your 2015 and 2016 W2/1099 form(s).

*In cases of divorce or separation, both parents must submit all required forms. The family's ability to contribute is based on both parents' income and assets.

Milk is provided to all students, regardless if they bring or buy their lunch. For the hot lunch program, the full year cost is $1,002, or payment can be made for each half year. The cost for September through December is $438. The cost for January through June is $564.
