At the Catherine Cook School, we leverage technology as a tool—a means to an end, not an end in and of itself.
Our students learn effective, responsible ways to integrate technology into their daily lives; our faculty and staff use technology as a resource for effective communication and integrated learning. We also encourage technology use among our parents. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions about technology used at Catherine Cook.
As part of our emphasis on technology, as well as to further our green initiatives, we have developed a number of technological solutions to adapt our strategy to the digital age. Communications, including our weekly newsletters and annual reports, are primarily web-based. We leverage social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest to give our parents a variety of options that help them stay connected.
Technology changes rapidly, so keeping abreast of the latest trends is of the utmost importance. Our students utilize aspects like our one-to-one laptop and iPad programs, interactive digital white boards, and integrated media literacy courses to learn how best to use and build on these technologies.
