Equity Coffees
The Fall Equity Coffee is Wednesday, October 4, at 6:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria. Our conversation will build on the previous engagements our community has undertaken to better understand gender identity and how to be a more gender-inclusive school for children and adults of all gender identities. At this Coffee, we will welcome two Educational Programming facilitators from Gender Spectrum, joining via Zoom.
Gender Spectrum facilitated previous community trainings in 2022-2023 for our full staffulty and Board of Trustees. I am grateful that you can now have the same shared understanding of ways to be proactive in how we support building an inclusive community.
Small plates and beverages will be provided for adult attendees and pizza will be provided for Cook students who need childcare. Please RSVP below. Questions can be directed to Motoko Maegawa, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
