Understanding Anti-Asian and Anti-Black Racism and the Interconnectedness within the BIPOC Community

Please join us for a Zoom presentation Wednesday, April 7, at 6:00 p.m. co-hosted by Motoko Maegawa, Catherine Cook’s Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Brandie Melendez, Director of Equity and Inclusion at the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, NY, as they open a conversation on Understanding Anti-Asian and Anti-Black Racism and the Interconnectedness within the BIPOC Community.  Together we can learn about and understand the systemic nature of these forms of hate, consider our agency in building a community centered on solidarity for and within the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) community, and ultimately learn how to actively interrupt and help end racism.
